Ahhh. Such Fun!

Oscars! What a blast.

And though I really don't care who wins, I was glad to see all the happy, happy people. And make fun of them and the way they dress. Especially with other people who enjoy doing the same damn thing. . .

What was up with the gaggle of hobbits? No guests? Not a single one brought a guest?

That was just a little strange. But much food for laughter.

And just because I was asked. . .

1 large Avocado, mashed
1 T fresh lemon juice
2 T grated onion
1 t Worcestershire sauce
1 8-oz. pack. cream cheese, softened
1/2 c sour cream
1/2 t salt
1 7 1/2 oz can crabmeat, drained and flaked

Makes 2 cups

Mix mashed avocado with lemon juice, onion and Worcestershire sauce. Stir in cream cheese, sour cream and salt. Add crabmeat and mix thouroughly. Serve with tortilla chips or crackers.

I also add a can of medium or tiny shrimp, just because. And it's okay to double everything for large parties. Make a couple of hours ahead of time so that the flavors mix better, just stir before serving. It turns out a soft green color, so I've had some people that won't even try it. . .but once you get it in their mouth, they won't leave you alone.

Also. . .do not ever use lowfat or nonfat products. I tried this once. It truly sucked. Big time.

I hope that everyone had as fun a night as I did!

Now I've got to run off and work on my story that chrisleeoctaves got back to me in record time!

*bangs head against desk*

But I do have a question for all you writers out there. . .

*Why* did you start writing fanfic?

To take the characters farther/expand on their stories?
Because you knew you could do better?
Were you were pissed off at or loved too much a particular ep/story arch?

What makes us do what we do? What is our motivation?
